Livelihood Training Activity for the Women Survivors of Violence
Women empowerment through LIVELIHOOD - provided a series of entreprenurial skills training workshops for victims / survivors of violence and low income women. In this way, socio economics became a component of an integrated process of EMPOWERMENT . These livelihood training sessions lessened their economic dependence on their partners and thus made the less vulnerable to domestic violence.
Zonta Club of Cebu II is a Zonta International club in Cebu, Philippines, advancing the status of women and girls through service, advocacy and community partnerships. Our work focuses on women’s empowerment, education, family literacy, solo parent support, livelihood opportunities, community development, and ending violence against women and girls, helping build stronger families and more resilient communities in Cebu and beyond.
