Zonta Club of Cebu II Leadership Medal of Excellence

Zonta Club of Cebu II is an affiliate organization of Zonta International, a global organization, founded in 1919, composed of executives and professionals working together to advance the status of women worldwide through service and advocacy. Zonta members volunteer their time, talents and resources to local and international service projects, as well as scholarship and award programs aimed at furthering women’s education, leadership and youth development.

To further these objectives Zonta Club of Cebu II launched the Zonta Club of Cebu II Leadership Medal of Excellence competition. This award is an honor bestowed on the best female candidate from the High School graduating class of educational institutions in CebuCity who best exercises her leadership potential to uplift and advance the status of women and girls within her scope of influence.

Zonta Club of Cebu II believes young women are the key to women’s advancement in the field of service and gender advocacy and the members hope that this award will serve to encourage young women who have demonstrated leadership skills and interest in civic causes.  The following were recipients of the the Zonta Club of Cebu II Leadership Medal of Excellence;
