I was chosen a reluctant president of the club but at the same time I wanted to help the club achieve its Goals for the Biennium, and help women and children.

We constructed and opened a 2 storey bldg to serve as a Day Care Center, in Tipolo, Mandaue . We needed the second floor of the building for the pre school children, and the training space for the mothers on the ground floor.

We had an Awarding of the Women Achievers of Cebu during the United Nation’s Day celebration. For the children we also awarded the Girl and Boy “ Peace Maker” of the year.

Indeed a true experience of Friendship and sisterhood in Service made me feel what a real Zonta Club activity is all about.
