Adoption of Barangay Alang-alang in Mandaue City – aimed at showcasing what Zonta is all about; thus making it a model for future projects and / or involvement in Mandaue’s growth in terms of women empowerment.
Zonta Leadership Medal Award – given to any female high school graduating student who not only excels academically but also stands out in socio-civic activities which contribute to community growth especially the youth like her. This is also our way of identifying future Zontians.
Re-activation of our Z Club. Formally establishing a unified group with officers and members to help us in our projects and also to let them have their own projects in their school, promoting the Zonta ideals.
Exposure in print and other media, including newspapers, television, and radio in selected Zonta functions and /or activities -making known to the public what Zonta is all about.
Instituted as a quarterly Zonta activity the “haircutting’ of the elderly housed in the Mother Teresa Home for the Aged (Gasa sa Gugma).
Continuing promotion of Zonta “advocacies” in VAWC (Violence Against Women and Children) through trainings and seminars and linkages to both government and civic organizations to promote awareness; through Parenting seminars; through livelihood trainings to augment economic growth of our women.
Fund raising as a culminating activity to “add on ” to our Zonta coffers for future and on going Zonta projects.
