Upon realizing that Cebu City Library was in need of a sound system, the Club decided to donate a portable, wheeled, rechargeable sound system worth Fifteen Thousand Pesos (P15,000).
Cebu City Librarian Ruth Chua was very happy to receive such a practical gift which had been on the Cebu City Library’s wish list for the longest time.
The Club has its own Zonta Club Reading Center for Children inside the library’s premises. Among the activities held there are the Club’s reading sessions and puppet shows featuring stories that impart good moral values. The Club prepared a presentation for the children from neighboring Barangays last December 2012.
