Zonta Club of Cebu II sent P200,000 (US $5,000) worth of relief goods to the much devastated towns of Barangay Pasian, Monkayo and Barangay Ogao in Nabunturan, Compostela Valley last December 18.
1300 packs of consumer goods were delivered directly to Typhoon Pablo flood victims who queued anxiously to wait for their turn to receive the food packs.
With the help of Pres Myrna’s cousin, a Kadayaw Mason Lodge member who is based in Davao City, they transported the goods to the hinterlands after a 4- hour ride from Davao City proper. The relief goods were distributed to the two towns.
