What better way to recognize the woman’s right for protection, than to put in muscle, force, and energy into the caption “Women Empowerment”. Such was demonstrated in the early morning of Nov.22, 2023, where 100 women from different barangays in Mandaue City, together with Zonta Club of Cebu II members “Oranged the world” at the Mandaue City Hall Heritage Plaza and learned the proper punches and kicks, while sending a loud call for the elimination of gender-based violence, for a VAW-FREE community.
