On November 15, 2025, Zonta Club of Cebu II officially kicked off its 18 Days of Activism (pre-event) through a creative and inspiring gathering with 20 selected members of the Z Club from Our Lady of Joy Learning Center and ChildLink Learning Center.
As part of the activity, a Basic Stencil Printmaking Workshop was held, giving students the opportunity to explore hands-on art-making techniques that encouraged self-expression and creativity. Under the patient and passionate guidance of JumJum Oano, a multidisciplinary artist and cultural advocate from Bohol, the children spent a joyful and enriching morning learning artistic skills that sparked imagination and built confidence.
JumJum’s commitment to mentoring young artists was evident as he shared techniques that not only nurtured creativity but also introduced the idea of transforming artistic skills into sustainable crafts the students may one day proudly monetize.
The Visayas Art Fair team was honored to share this meaningful experience with Zonta Club of Cebu II. Together, the collaboration aimed to awaken creativity, nurture confidence, and open doors to future opportunities for these young participants.
The children’s gratitude was heartfelt—and their bright smiles spoke volumes about the impact of a day filled with art, learning, and encouragement.
