Elementary students and newly chartered Z Club high school members from Our Lady of Joy Learning Center commemorated the International Day of Peace on September 21, 2024, with vibrant songs and dances. The event, held at the Activity Center of SM Consolacion, beautifully showcased the theme of peace on earth.
The celebration was made even more special by the presence of the ever-supportive officers and members of Zonta Club of Cebu 2 (smiling ladies in green), as well as representatives from Living Values Education, Inc. (ALIVE) and Zonta Club of Cebu 1. These dedicated individuals generously spent their Saturday afternoon with the children, lending their support to this meaningful and joyful occasion dedicated to honoring peace.
The performances by the students were full of life and hope, serving as a heartfelt reminder of the importance of unity and harmony in our world. It was a wonderful day to celebrate peace, uplift spirits, and inspire future generations to continue spreading kindness and understanding.
