Zonta Club of Cebu II Fellowship Celebrates Friendship, Sisterhood and Community

On September 12, 2026, the members of Zonta Club of Cebu II came together for a meaningful day of club discussions, fellowship and celebration. After a productive discussion covering upcoming programs, advocacy initiatives and community activities, the members took time to step away from the serious business of the day and celebrate something equally important—the friendship, connection and sisterhood that strengthen the Club.

It was an afternoon filled with laughter, music, games, singing, dancing and joyful fellowship, creating a memorable celebration for the Club’s members and September and October birthday celebrants. 🎶💃🎤✨

A Celebration of Friendship and Sisterhood

The fellowship was led by the Club’s September and October birthday celebrants, who helped turn the afternoon into a lively celebration.

Our Zisters embraced the occasion wholeheartedly, arriving in colorful polka-dotted outfits featuring everything from classic black and white to vibrant shades of red, green, blue and more. With dots of every size and color filling the room, the theme created a playful and festive atmosphere.

What followed was an afternoon of games, singing, dancing, music and plenty of laughter.

For a while, the day's schedules, projects and responsibilities were set aside. There was simply time to enjoy one another's company, celebrate friendships and create memories together.

Circles That Bring Us Together

The polka-dot theme carried a special meaning beyond its fun and colorful appearance.

A circle has no beginning and no end. It can represent continuity, connection and unity—qualities that beautifully reflect the relationships shared among Zontians.

Like a circle, the bonds of friendship within Zonta continue to grow through shared experiences, common goals and a commitment to service.

The fellowship was a reminder that while the Club's advocacy work addresses serious and important issues affecting women, girls and families, the people behind that work also need opportunities to connect, recharge and celebrate together.

Strengthening the Zonta Sisterhood

Throughout the year, Zonta Club of Cebu II members dedicate their time and energy to various programs and advocacies, including ALIMBUKAD: Basa Pamilya, Solo Parents, 18 Days of Activism, Livelihood, Education and other community initiatives.

These programs require commitment, teamwork and collaboration.

Fellowship activities provide another important opportunity: strengthening the relationships among the women who make these initiatives possible.

Through laughter, conversation, music and shared moments, friendships are nurtured and the spirit of sisterhood grows stronger.

It is this sense of connection and camaraderie that helps members continue working together toward a common purpose—to contribute to a better world for women and girls.
